Dear Robert:

We are writing to express our appreciation for the fine job you did in the recent exterior painting of our rambler in Potomac. We had a bad experience with the previous painter and were somewhat uneasy about the choice of a group to do the repainting. However, a good friend recommended Robert and Sons highly, and we are glad we followed his advice.

We were impressed first, with the thoroughness and care in of your men in the preparation of the wood before painting. As they explained, it makes no sense to paint over a surface until it is properly prepared to recive paint. The garage door, windows and other wooden surfaces were sanded, scraped, lightly burned were necessary, and smoothed with the required filling and puttying. Where our outbuilding had minor termite damage, you removed the affected part, replaced it and added a coat of primer. The house exhibits a new and refreshing appearence.
